Great last day of season at Hamilton Park

Game on Hamilton Park

The true values of club rugby were evident at Hamilton Park on Saturday with the opposition struggling to get the required numbers Ulster Branch's 'Game On' initiative was deployed.

Ards supplemented the Civil Service team and over 30 players got a game at regional level which otherwise wouldn't have taken place.

We've no referee in attendance, Ards called upon 1st XV player and associate referee David Armstrong to ref the match.

7 Regent House School leavers enjoyed the experience of playing alongside their teacher Davy Thompson and x Ulster stars Andy Matchett, Shane Stewart & Scott Young

Bryan McFarland also had the great pleasure of playing alongside his sons Josh & Matt.

Both teams joined together after the match for burgers & beers on the deck, with the leader of the Black Knights Stu Stevenson calling the tunes!

A great last day of the season at Hamilton Park.
