Ards Rugby has been receiving regular updates from it's Lion's tourists

Lion's Tourists:

Ards Rugby has been well represented at the British & Irish Lion’s matches in New Zealand, Junior Vice President Ashley ‘Big Rig’ Peden has been on tour with Andy Fletcher and both have met up with fellow Black Knight’s Cyril Stocker and Warren Simpson.

Before the 1st Test 'Big Rig' & Fletch had an audience with the Pope......none other than Kiwi RTE Rugby pundit Brent Pope!

Past Ards player and ex-pat Shane Barr caught up with them before the 1st test match and was joined by Kiwi former Ards player’s Simon Devoy and Mark O’Shaughnessy.
