Pre-season at Hamilton Park

Full steam ahead - great buzz and great numbers at pre season

Head Coach John West and new backs coach John Anderson along with Ards Rugby's fitness guru Paddy McGrattan got pre-season underway on Tuesday evening.

The off-season training held the players in good stead and pre season started with a real focus on rugby related matters.

Gone are the days when players will be beasted, however for those players that need that extra bit of work, Paddy will be at hand to help out.

Head Coach West stressed the emphasis is on enjoyment and positivity and that he wanted every player to enjoy the training, as, if a player doesn’t enjoy training they will not come back for the next session.

They encourage ALL players to get to pre-season sooner rather than later or they will find themselves lagging behind.

Pre-season continues on Tuesday & Thursday evenings at 7pm at Hamilton Park.
