Ards 1st XV scrum half Alex Hendrickse has been voted the Lambert Smith Hampton Ards Rugby Player of the Month for September.

In his debut season at senior rugby, last year's Regent House scrum half has earned the respect and votes of his fellow player's by his performances on and off the field during the Month of September.

'Hendo' is strong in the tackle, has a lightning pass, is always looking for the break and is a real asset to the side....long may it continue!

The Lambert Smith Hampton Player of the Month is selected by the 1st and 2nd XV players.

After each match the players who played in the match are asked to rank 3 players from their team who contributed most to their team's performance for that match.

At the end of each match these results are tallied and the Player of the Month is selected.
