On Sunday 24th April, Ards P7 Mini Rugby squad travelled to Dublin to participate in the 2022 Seapoint Mini Rugby Festival.

This was the 40th edition of the popular festival which saw over 130 teams and 2,000 players coming together for a fantastic celebration of Rugby.

The Ards team competed in the u12 section playing against Greystones, St Brigids, North Meath and Lansdowne Rugby Clubs.

The step up in age category was always going to be challenge as it was the first time the team had played 12v12 …..but they took it all in their stride.

From start to finish it was a brilliant experience for the players and the relished the opportunity to play against teams from outside of Ulster.
