Ards senior rugby:
There are no matches this saturday for the senior teams. The senior squad will be taking part in a charity spin class in aid of the Children's Heartbeat Trust at 1145am in Ards Leisure centre. The Player's Xmas Dinner will follow in the clubhouse from 730pm.
Ards Youth Rugby:
Ards U14 and U16 squads both played their respective Instonians counterparts at Hamilton Park last Saturday. Both teams recorded convincing victories. Credit goes to the coaches and the players for the huge improvement they have made thus far this season. This Saturday both teams play at home league matches against Civil Service at 11am. Training continues on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7pm at the home of Ards Rugby, Hamilton Park. Ards ladies rugby:
Every Thursday evening sterling work is being done by former Ards Rugby President and 1st XV stalwart Gary 'Oaf' Presho and Alex Sanlon coaching the small band of Ards Ladies. Every week the girls turn up, train together then have 'healthy buns' and coffee. If you want to join just come along and introduce yourself to the coaches or contact Alex Sanlon - 07731486300
Mini rugby:
Ards rugby will be hosting a Fresh Fields supported P7 blitz on Friday evening from 7-9pm. Local clubs will take part and for many of the p7s it will be a welcome opportunity to play following their AQE endeavours. Mini rugby continues with training this Sunday at Hamilton Park from 2pm. This will be the last training session prior to a Xmas break. Parents are reminded that this year's Xmas Party the kids will be going to the SSE Arena to watch the Belfast Giants on Sat 17th December, final places can be booked this Sunday at training.
