Last Sunday the John Ross & Son Solicitors sponsored Ards Rugby Junior Girls squad travelled to Easton Park, Ballymena to participate in a Girls rugby development blitz.

The Ards girls joined players from Donaghadee to make up a team which went unbeaten throughout the blitz.

Ards girls who scored tries included Sarah, Abbi, Rachel, Saffy Shaw and new recruit Holly Spence who was playing in her first ever rugby blitz.

Numbers in Jill Shaw's girls squad have been steadily increasing and the girls are now playing in regular blitz style matches.
