Ards Rugby’s Community Participation Officer Erin Hodgen and Youth Convenor Brendan O'Hanlon hosted a Rugby, Pizza and PlayStation evening at Hamilton Park to recruit new Youth Rugby players.

This was a novel idea and attracted boy & girls aged between 11-16yrs from the Ards, North Down, Comber and Peninsula areas.

A great night's fun was had on the pitch and in the clubhouse afterwards and many new friendships were formed.

Such was the success plans are afoot to make this a regular occurrence.

A big thank you to Apache Pizza at Toscana Retail Park, Bangor who supported the night!

An open invite is extended to any boy or girl interested in ‘Giving it a try’ at Ards Youth Rugby as we are recruiting at U12, U14, U16 & U18 age groups.

 Just turn up on and introduce yourself - no experience is necessary.
