It was a much changed Ards seconds that made the trip to the Dub in perfect sunny conditions for running rugby.

With call ups to the first team and the unavailable of their flyhalf this gave a number of players the opportunity to impress.
Charlie Stewart started at flyhalf with Kyle Agnew returning from injury at scrum half.
There was also a new centre partnership with Fijian Epi Ratu making his Ards debut and Chris McClure also returning from injury and making his first start of the season.

Ards found themselves on the wrong side of the referee early into the game giving away a converted penalty for dissent.
From a turn over Queens scored their first try after 5 minutes.
Ards then took full control of territory and possession led by a dominant scrum with a front row of Jonny Millar, Conran Stewart and Davy Dodd impressing.

Ards could just not execute the scores that they play deserved and paid the penalty conceding two soft tries from handling errors in the 36th and 38th minutes.

The second half followed the same pattern as the first, with the visitors getting no reward for their work rate.

The conditions remained perfect for running rugby and that's just what the students did; running in three further late second half tries.

Whilst the final score line somewhat flattered the home side, there was no denying the fact that they fully deserved their victory and for the second time in as many weeks, Ards found themselves struggling to cope with the fitness and strong running game often adopted by student sides.
