A strong Ballynahinch 4th XV travelled to Hamilton Park on Wednesday night and deservedly won the league points.
The powerful Hinch pack dominated the lighter Ards and pack and the Hinch backs particularly their scrum half were just too sharp for the Ards team.
Ards stuck manfully to the task and never let their heads go down, using the bench to replace 3 injured players and then finishing the game with 14 men due to another injury.
Ards' injured players included scrum half Connor Young, flankers Matt Bell and Ryan Mills and winger Chris Webster. Outhalf Taylor Nutt struggled through the game with an ankle injury that has hampered him since Christmas.
