Ards 2nds travelled to Rifle Park, Banbridge to play this league match, late non availability saw Ards hastily re-arrange their team and travel without subs. Ards came up against a well organised Banbridge 3rds and despite the 38 – 0 loss played some good rugby. The Ards pack performed in the scrum and the lineout fared well, flanker Ryan Thompson filled the gap at centre and showed his physical side and on two occasions Ards full back Adam Coulter made try saving tackles. Banbridge were more penetrating in the backs and deserved their win.
