Ards 2nds hosted a good Queens 3rds side at a blustery Regent House last Saturday. Queens outscored Ards 4 tries to 2 with Matty Bell and Adam Carroll dotting down for Ards in the second half.

It was home from home for Ards Rugby’s newest debutants Ryan Upritchard & Jonah Mitchell, both were part of this season’s Regent House 1st XV squad, with Ryan having been the captain. Both players gave a very good account of themselves and are a welcome addition to the playing ranks at Ards Rugby.

Ards dominated periods throughout the game and were unlucky not to bag a couple more tries on the day.
